Discover Why God Is Concerned About You

Speaker:

Are you going through a time in life when you find yourself below sea level, struggling just to keep your head above water and stay alive in the middle of your circumstances? I wish I could change your circumstances, but I can’t. But I do have some words from the Bible to encourage you.

But first, here’s what I want you to do. I want you to think back in time—a long way back to Bible times–to when the Pharaohs were ruling Egypt. God’s people had been made slaves in the land, forced to make bricks for Pharaoh’s building projects. Maybe there are some parallels between what you are going through and what they went through.

For instance, you’re suffering, right? And you’re stuck in this impossible situation where you don’t see any way out? Even God seems to have forgotten you? That’s how the Israelites felt. When they cried out to God, nothing seemed to happen—for quite a while.

But then something did happen. God intervened. The Lord said, “I have indeed seen the misery of my people…. I have heard them crying out…, and I am concerned about their suffering. So I have come down to rescue them.” (Exodus 3:7-8). Rescuing–exactly what you need right now, isn’t it?

Dear friend, God has not forgotten you. As He told His people so long ago, He does see you, He hears, He is concerned, and He will yet rescue you.  Don’t give up hope.  Cast your load of care on the Lord, hang on a little longer, and see if God doesn’t bring you into a place of blessing in your life.

God says, “Remember…I have made you, you are my servant…, I will not forget you” (Isaiah 44:21).
